What does CandyWrapper do?

CandyWrapper scans QR codes and links and checks them through a multi-stage security pipeline before you open them. You get a clear verdict — Sweet (safe to open) or Spoiled (risky, blocked) — so you never tap blindly.

How do I scan a QR code?

Open the app and point your camera at any QR code, or paste a link to check it. CandyWrapper runs its checks and shows a plain-English safety report. You decide whether to continue — we never open the destination automatically.

What do "Sweet" and "Spoiled" mean?

Sweet means the link passed our checks — no malware, spoofing, or known phishing. Spoiled means we found something risky and recommend walking away. A result is an informational assessment, not an absolute guarantee — always use your own judgment.

Is CandyWrapper free?

Scanning works without an account. Creating and managing your own QR codes, analytics, and team features may require signing in.

How do I create a QR code?

Sign in, then use Create to generate a QR code you control — optionally encrypted, with scan tracking, expirations, and scan limits. You can revoke any code at any time.

How do I sign in?

You can sign in with email and password or with Sign in with Apple. Signing in with Apple creates an account tied to your Apple ID; we receive your name and email only on the first sign-in.

Do you store the links I scan?

We process the links you submit to deliver and improve security results, and we share derived indicators with trusted providers (such as Google Safe Browsing and VirusTotal) to assess safety. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account from within the app (Settings → Account). You may also email privacy@candywrapper.app to request deletion of your personal data.

I got a wrong result or found a bug

Security intelligence changes constantly and no scanner is perfect. If a link was misclassified or something isn't working, email support@candywrapper.app with the link (or a screenshot) and we'll take a look.
